Talk to any smuggler and you will find that spacers are prone to flights of fancy. A common tale for any to tell is that of a paradise world lost deep in the Galactic Core. The Core itself has forever been inaccessible but, as legend has it, a skilled pilot might be able to successfully navigate their way through with a series of incredibly precise hyperspace jumps. After dodging treacherous dark matter concentrations, densely packed stars, and deadly black holes, the lucky survivors will supposedly emerge from hyperspace near a blue-green sun named Beshqek. There, as the story goes, the mythical planet of Byss awaits with bountiful vegetation, beautiful sunlit beaches, and riches beyond your wildest dreams.
